Rooted in Truth.

My name is Mary Kathryn. Rooted Eagle started as a vague calling that I ignored in early 2025. In the midst of genuine pain, I finally chose to answer the call, launching in late July of the same year. It has become my creative outlet, giving life and meaning to my hobbies, allowing me to spread the Word of God and bring joy to others.

Soaring in Purpose.

Faith is a living, breathing thing that gives life purpose and love meaning. Faith is where Peace is found. The goal of Rooted Eagle is to remind people of the love of Jesus, the promises He has made to His people, and the joy that is to be found in the simple things in life.

The Roots.

  • John Wayne Brashears

    Pa passed in January 2024, leaving behind a legacy of faith and love...and pyrography tools. He spent the majority of his life spreading the Word of God through his actions and voice, and sharing the beauty of nature through his art. His hobby became mine.

  • Charlotte Ellen Brashears

    Nana passed in February 2026, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge and strength. Her foundation was God; the advice she gave came directly from Him. She encouraged me to continue Pa's passion and answer the call that the Lord placed on my heart.

  • Emily Katherine Stewart

    Grandmommy passed in June 2019, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and quiet dignity. She appreciated the simple and loved the world around her, leading me to do the same. She taught me to find the beauty in all things, to recognize the elegance and peace of nature.

The Wings.

Isaiah 40:31, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." This is my favorite verse, acting as a constant reminder to remain patient and trust in the Lord. Though today may be difficult, He promises a better tomorrow.
